About BIOflex®
History
After extensive research work, the German physicist Horst M. Baermann discovered end of the 1970ies several particularly beneficial pole configurations for permanent magnets. Subsequently RHEINMAGNET Horst Baermann GmbH has been granted numerous national and international patents from 1983 onwards. Together with a number of further discoveries in the subsequent years, the BIOflex® technology has meanwhile become the internationally recognised term for therapeutic permanent magnets
BIOflex® features partly patented types of magnetisation with alternating polarity and/or particularly strong magnetic fields providing deep penetration into the tissue. BIOflex® has become the internationally recognised term for the latest state of non-aggressive and non-invasive permanent magnet technology to support human health.
Studies having been conducted for approx. 20 years according to strict scientific criteria prove the significant therapeutic effects of magnetic treatment, especially related to pain and blood circulation therapies.
Over the past years we have developed and now launched a completely new innovative BIOflex® Wellness product world that features self-cooling aqua gel products (non-toxic, chemical free, TUV Cologne certified). Currently available products are: cooling mats/pads, universal bandages and face mask.
Our new BIOflex® Wellness product world combines for the first time 2 recognised therapy approaches – cryotherapy and magnetic field therapy – in one. This new product world was for the first time introduced at REHACARE 2010 in Düsseldorf where it has been received with great interest and constructive feedback from different trade fields.
Beside classic applications like for instance as mattress overlays in hotels, clinics and homes the cooling mats can among others be applied as seat or back cushions for wheelchairs and processed as mattress layers in sleep systems
